During the SOT conference, we will be sponsoring the Inhalation and Respiratory Specialty Section (IRSS).
Description:
The Inhalation and Respiratory Specialty Section is pleased to offer a special $500 award for the 2024 Annual Meeting.
This award is open to all SOT members regardless of IRSS membership and will be given to a graduate student or postdoctoral researcher evaluating the effects of inhaled toxicants on respiratory cells using an in vitro or ex vivo approach.
Applicants should submit a one-page summary describing the purpose, approach, key results, and presumed impact of their findings as they relate to the topic of the award.
A letter of support highlighting the candidate is also required from their mentor.
