Career Opportunity: Lead Generation and Marketing Specialist

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and motivated individual with marketing experience to join our team. Working from the SCIREQ office in Montreal, the Marketing Specialist oversees and executes marketing, sales support and event planning activities for our line of scientific research instruments. The Marketing Specialist is closely aligned with the needs of SCIREQ customers, and works hand in hand with the sales team to promote SCIREQ respiratory research solutions worldwide.

SCIREQ and its parent company, emka TECHNOLOGIES, design scientific research instruments for physiology, pharmacology and toxicology research. We work closely with leading academic and industrial life sciences research laboratories across the world. Our team is constantly looking for new talent to develop and promote solutions that further our understanding of the lungs, heart and brain.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Managing portfolio of sales tools that communicate product value and support the sales process
  • Developing strategies to differentiate and promote emka and SCIREQ products consistently across a wide range of scientific applications including respiratory, cardio, neuro and telemetry
  • Managing CRM leads, prospects, customers and developing new strategies for prospecting and lead acquisition
  • Developing digital marketing strategies with our website, blog, and specialized social media
  • Community building through social media and online efforts
  • Managing marketing projects and tasks to be performed by the team within an agile framework
  • Planning and executing marketing campaigns for product launches, new scientific applications and other events
  • Lead generation through the website, campaigns, google alerts
  • Website management and updates through strong understanding of google analytics, SEO, SEM

Education/Qualifications

Essential:

  • College degree in Marketing or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1 to 2 year’s relevant experience
  • Excellent English Writing abilities
  • Knowledge of MS Office
  • CRM experience, preferably Hubspot
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools (SEM, SEO, social media, etc.)

Assets:

  • Background in science or interest in scientific research
  • Knowledge of Adobe products (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)
  • Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms
  • Experience in graphic design and/or video editing
  • Familiarity with the Agile methodology
  • Other spoken languages (French or other)
