We are pleased to announce the publication of another video article in the Journal of Visualized Experiments (JoVE). “[…] JoVE is a peer reviewed, PubMed indexed journal devoted to the publication of biological, medical, chemical and physical research in a video format.”1
The article, entitled Assessment of Respiratory Function in Conscious Mice by Double-Chamber Plethysmography, is the result of a scientific collaboration between SCIREQ and the Institut Universitaire de Cardiologie et de Pneumologie of the Université Laval (Québec, Canada). It focuses on the application of the double-chamber plethysmography, a technique used to study aspects of the respiratory function in conscious laboratory animals. The article reviews the principles of the methodology and provides, in addition of examples of its application, a detailed step-by-step procedure to successfully and reproducibly perform the technique to address important questions in various fields of research.
We take pride in contributing to the scientific research community and invite you to read the paper, watch the video, and share the information.
